- You need to submit a Tuition Assistance Benefit (TAB) application for each term to use the benefit.
- Summer 2025 TAB applications open May 1.
- The CU Boulder deadline to submit the nondegree application for summer will tentatively be July 11.
- Beginning in Fall 2025, Continuing Education courses with the prefix CSPB will be eligible for TAB.

Apply for Admission
Apply to a Degree Program
Employees and dependents who are applying for a degree on the Boulder Main Campus must apply for and be granted admission to CU Boulder like all other students. Visit the Office of Admissions for deadlines and additional information.
- Undergraduate Admissions (the same requirements apply to employees and dependents (application, essay, test scores, credentials) as any other prospective student).

Apply as a Nondegree Student
Employees enrolling for classes informally must complete the Faculty/Staff/Dependent Nondegree Application within established deadlines.
Complete the Tuition Assistance Benefit Application (Every Semester)
After applying for admission, complete the Tuition Assistant Benefit Application by following the instructions at Employee Services Tuition Benefit - CU Boulder (scroll down to Tuition Assistance Steps and Deadlines > Apply for the tuition assistance benefit).
- The benefit application for employees or dependents must be completed by the employee every semester or term.
- If your dependent is not listed on your CU health, dental or life insurance, you must submit a Dependent Eligibility Verification Form and attach approval of verification to your Tuition Assistance Benefit Application.
